Welcome to Sport Management Creations (SMC).
Welcome to Sport Management Creations (SMC). We are a company specialized on organizing custom sport tours. Sport has the power to bring people together without distinctions, fostering connections and cultural exchanges. We want your organization to enjoy these benefits through our tailor-made proposals.
SMC was founded in 2005 when its founder, Darío Stawski, after having played high-performance soccer and worked in the sports industry in different parts of the world, noticed a significant difference in how sports are experienced in each country.
With this premise, SMC begins its journey to bring amateur and professional teams from all over the world to experience the way sports are lived in other countries, with a primary focus on Argentina. Our emphasis lies in professionalism, creativity, and transparency, which underpin our mission of establishing strong connections with athletes, sports institutions, and companies.
Each project is unique and is developed individually by trained professionals who provide enriching and unforgettable experiences. We are specialists in creating lifetime experiences for sports teams!

We want to thank Dario and the SMC team for putting together
an incredible itinerary. We asked for nonstop football and
that’s what we got. Clubs laid out the red carpet for the
group in a fashion never seen in NorCal’s numerous coaching
education trips. We visited six clubs, we watched an
incredible amount of sessions, we attended 3 pro matches and
we’re all going to come back to California hungry and
thirsty to apply what we’ve learned on the field.
David Robertson
PDP And Coach Education Coordinator NorCal Premier Soccer.
SMC did an amazing job organizing and running our trip to
Argentina and Uruguay. No details were left unchecked and
our team had an incredible cultural and bonding experience
and most importantly we had fun. Our guide Ariel was a Five
Star no doubt about it. I have been on 5 foreign trips with
different teams in my life to places throughout Europe and
this trip to South America I would put up against any of
them. That has a lot to do with Dario and the hard work he
and his company put in to making this a trip of a lifetime
for Campbell Basketball.
Kevin McGeehan
Head men's basketball coach at Campbell University.
When I first realized we would have the opportunity to take
the team to Argentina, I was nervous at first. Taking 25
young women to a different country you’ve never been to is a
daunting task. I was excited, but concerned. These concerns
were alleviated the second we stepped off the plane and had
the chance to meet Dario. His energy and welcoming
personality were simply outstanding. Once we were on the
bus, Ariel, our tour guide, immediately started and away we
went. These two gentlemen changed our trip from fun to
exciting. From memorable to unforgettable. The amount of
time, energy and consistent hospitality they showed for the
duration of our trip to Argentina are among the primary
reasons I will be taking our team there every 3 years. Dario
followed through on each and every request I made, and went
above and beyond to make our team’s experience as special as
it could be. From touring the wonderful city of Buenos
Aires, to playing against top level competition, to Gaucho
Day, to our Tango night experience, to all the amazing
meals, the trip was remarkable. I cannot more highly
recommend taking a team to Argentina through Sport
Management Creations and Dario Stawski.
Nick Hoover
Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Susquehanna University.
SMC organized our trip to the IberCup 2019 in Porto Alegre.
It was a fantastic experience for the 2006, 2007 age groups
and for our coaching staff. IberCup and SMC delivered
everything as promised. We had the opportunity to compete in
a tournament where teams of all levels participated, from
small local clubs to some of the best teams from America and
Europe such as PSG, Manchester City, Inter Milan, Chivas de
Guadalajara, and Flamengo, just to name a few. All the
logistics were efficiently handled, and whenever
difficulties arose, they were always there to help us
resolve them. I highly recommend that all teams with the
chance to travel use the services of SMC.
Santiago Rodriguez
Youth Soccer Coordinator at Club Atletico Independiente.
As the Director of Coaches, I had the opportunity to design
and develop several international trips to Europe and
Argentina. These trips have their itineraries filled with
soccer and cultural experiences. The most successful tour we
had was the one we made to Argentina with our U-16 players.
Dario Stawski is truly a professional. He made sure that my
players, aspiring professional players, experience Argentine
soccer while immersing themselves in Buenos Aires and its
cultural values. He really understands the expectations of
American players and parents, and provided us with a very
enriching life experience. I can't wait, I want to go back.

Our tour to Argentina in 2008 was spectacular. Our host
(former NCAA DI goalkeeper) Dario Stawski treated us
extremely well. Dario made the trip incredibly easy for us,
which allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the
experience and enjoy it to the fullest. The level of
competition was exactly what we needed; they were
challenging matches but didn't overwhelm our players. Some
highlights of the tour included attending 1st division
soccer matches and getting to see 'La Bombonera' from the
inside. Dario has great knowledge and excellent contacts in
the world of soccer. I highly recommend taking your tours
with this company. Also, from a soccer perspective, the tour
was a great start to our season. We finished 18-3-1, won the
GNAC in the regular season, and were crowned tournament
champions. At the national level, we advanced to the second
round of the NCAA DIII.
Kyle Dezotell
Head Coach of the Norwich University Men's Soccer Team
I have had the privilege of participating in several
international tours with field hockey teams, and I can say
that the trip to Argentina (2007) was by far the best. The
hockey competition was excellent; we faced strong opponents,
and after each match, we had the opportunity to share
dinners and interact with the opposing team. Our tour
manager, Darío, was phenomenal: he was very friendly and
efficient, always making sure the tour met our expectations!
Buenos Aires has so much to offer culturally, educationally,
and athletically, and Darío will ensure that your experience
is unforgettable and very special! I sincerely recommend SMC
as the company for your sports tours.
Melissa Rogers
Head Coach of the Springfield College Field Hockey Team
We went to Uruguay and Argentina in 2008. Dario and his team
organized a tour for us that we will remember for a
lifetime. We watched top-level soccer and visited incredible
places. The hotels, transportation, and services were all
first-class. Most importantly, they treated us like royalty.
We were able to do and see what we really wanted, and even
when we faced unexpected obstacles like bad weather or a
change of plans, they were flexible to meet our needs and
desires. SMC has my highest recommendations.
Rich Manning
Head Coach of the University of Utah Women's Soccer Team
We had the privilege of traveling to Buenos Aires in August
2007 and training at one of the high-performance centers
chosen by SMC. Our host, Dario Stawski, was instrumental in
making our tour an unforgettable experience both on and off
the field. The training facilities were spectacular, the
level of sports competition was very high, and SMC's service
was fantastic. The trips outside of the training center were
very entertaining. We saw Boca Juniors play twice, once at
La Bombonera and another time at the Diego Armando Maradona
Stadium against Argentinos Juniors. Thanks to this tour,
Dario is still a good friend of Augsburg Soccer to this day.
SMC's efforts to make this trip an unforgettable experience
will never be forgotten.
Greg Holker
Head Coach of the Augsburg College Men's Soccer Team
